Hello! I am engaged in the independent development and assembly of photopolymer printers. I use "CreationWorkshop" and type in via USB directly. With the help of which program can printing with USB and HDMI?
Is there any chance we could get a method to auto-add supports, without a platform? I print miniature, and they all have a nice base that is excellent to print on, but I want to auto-add supports for the figures arm's and such.
Hi, not sure this is the right place, but I'll try it here.
Would it be possible for a future release to have this little changes? 1) the auto support is nice, but we are not able to mix sizes. When I do auto support on heavy it does not cover small areas, it would be nice if I could switch to medium or light support and click auto again to have them added and not replace the whole support system prepared before. 2) Sometime the supports go beyond the base, a bit under the base structure. That can cause a fail print when exporting an stl to combine in another scene as at 0 it will not print the main base but only the little geometry exceeding and will not pull the rest out. Would it be possible that Chitubox deletes all parts under the plate on export? maybe a check box, or just a warning? 3) could we have better control on the Anti-Aliasing? Kind of how strong to apply it? 4) would it be possible to have a object analyzer that will test the shape to orient it in the optimal way for the print?
5) it would be nice with multiples object in the scene to do auto support only on the selected oject and not to all of them at once
Hello, because most of the machines currently use offline printing, so there is no USB control added, but since the 1.4 version, the network send file function has been added.
Thanks for your suggestions, these are great feedback. 1. Automatic support will be more powerful in the future, and the problems you say will be easily solved. 2.This is a bug that has been fixed since the ChiTuBox 1.4 release. 3.What is the meaning of better control anti-aliasing? 4.Automatically rotate to the best position, this feature has been implemented in the ChiTuBox professional version, please wait for the professional version to be officially released. 5.Which version did you use? You can try this in ChiTuBox V1.4
How about a 'New Project' or 'Clear Build Plate' menu option? Right now, it is a little clunky moving on to the next print. I seem to either have to individually delete objects, or exit the program and list the next stl file on the command line.
Please add an option to "confirm" when the remove all support button is placed. It's so easy to clear all supports as the buttons are very close! Thanks!
Seems to be a bug in your forum where it won't allow me to create a new thread.
Just looking at this s/w...couple of things i note...it would be helpful if a text box appeared telling you what button it is when you float the mouse cursor over it....figured out box for 'open'...but trouble is it won't see my secondary drive where all my files are stored! Also, Wanhao D7 Plus....is there a preset profile or something I can download....? Would also be very helpful if eventually it could 'auto suggest' settings for various different resins but this obviously need to be community based I think.....or it would be even extra helpful if the manufacturers could actually provide right/ best settings for each machine....?
I've downloaded the Chitbox 64bit version for windows, but none of the text is appearing in the user-interface. This is the lastest version of ChituBox
I've been trying out CHiTuBox for a bit now. First of all it's a great program! It's my program of choice for slicing my resin prints now.
I have a couple of questions: 1) Are there keybindings or a way to add them (Specifically for toggeling the add / modify / delete Support modes) 2) Is there a way to change the dimensions of an existing support 3) Is there a way to hide all supports (only show support points) 4) I have seen that there is a plugins option. Is there an API for ChiTuBox? Can the community develop plugins?
Hi I'm French, Sorry in advance if my English is not very understandable.
I am interested in the ELEGOO Mars 3D photopolymerization printer. I am totally new to the subject of 3D printing.
This printer seems to work with the ChiTuBox software. Can you please confirm that this ELEGOO Mars printer only works with ChiTuBox software?
The function of the ChiTuBox Software? Is ChiTuBox only used to slicing objects already created in 3D on another software. That is to say, for example, that we use SketchUp to create a 3D object. Then we transfer the SketchUp file that describes the object into the ChiTuBox software in order to slice it? After the object is sliced by ChiTuBox then the file obtained by ChiTuBox can be transferred via a USB key into the ELEGOO Mars 3D printer? Does ELEGOO Mars know how to understand the file sliced by ChiTuBox in order to print it?
What are the types of files that ChiTuBox accepts to slicer? Are they necessarily vectorized files? Are there any dimensions not to exceed for a 3D object in order to open the file on ChiTuBox Software ? If the object in its initial 3D file is too large to be printed by ELEGOO Mars, then will the object's dimensions be resized via the ChiTuBox software?
Is there a Francophone person who can talk to me about ELEGOO Mars? ChiTuBox? via WhatsApp? I am willing to reasonably pay a person to help me move forward with the ELEGOO March (which I have not yet purchased) Is there a ChiTubox French-speaking community?
Thank you in advance for your help, for your answers as simple as possible and less technical/specific at first, please.
Hi, Anyone else get a ""Warn" - The file is too large, so only part of the 3d model and all layered images can be displayed!"? I saved the file then tried to re-open it but only get half my models in, the rest being cyber-sliced! Like the program though. Thanks
Hi, I am using NanooDLP as a CAM software to control the Machine( I have it custom made), How ever I love Using Chitubox, Can I generate The File after hollowing and support Generation as STL File ?
