Chitubox pro doesn't start, becomes immediately not responsive and just opens a black square window, if the program NZXTCam is running

whenever I use Chitubox pro, the whole right side of the menu is cut off, the only part of the blue button that I assume says slice, but I can only see the s and when I try to use the supports settings, I cannot see them, so I cannot add automatic supports

My Chitubox, no matter what version i open, says "NO DC" on every window, or menu. It's also telling me that my models are out of bounds, when they are clearly not

My chitubox is unable to open "large" files. Anything above 50mb is a highly unlikely to work. Chitubox does open, no error code, model name on the side, but there is nothing displayed. Any help?! Issue happens both in v1.8.1 and v1.9.0. I am certain the models are not just faulty.

Since upgrading to 1.9.1, using Anycubic Mono X printer, and trying to slice at either 0.086 or 0.087 mm layer height; Chitubox generates invalid layer height after slicing.  In the sliced view, Chitubox shows 0.0859 and 0.0869 instead of 0.086 or 0.087 values used in settings.  UVTools also flags this layer height error when it tries to load the pwmx file generated by Chitubox.

I cannot find the problem on other layer height settings, and I am forced to use 0.088 in order to get a clean slice file.  But 0.087 is the optimal value for printing surfaces tilted 60 degrees from horizontal.

crashes cura when you try to load a model. while loading a model in cura as soon as you open the file it crashes and closes cura. uninstall chitubox and cura works just fine.

So my Chitubox Pro is hanging at this point. Last night I could log in fine, tonight I get this. Any ideas?

When I activate the pro sub that came with my Mars 3 purchase, why does it require my Printer ID number EVERY time I open a new instance of Chitubox?  There was a card that I had, but I cannot find it.  Is there a place on my printer where I can find my Printer ID#?

I noticed when I set the rest times as follow:

- rest time before lift: 2

- rest time after lift: 0

- rest time after retract: 3

The printer (Elegoo Mars 3) behaves as follow:

- rest time before lift: 2

- rest time after lift: 2

- rest time after retract: 3

It seems the "rest time after lift" used is the same as the "rest time before lift".

These two settings should not be linked.

This is using Chitubox 1.9.2 and Chitubox Pro 1.2.0

I've been using V1.8.1 with no issues on Mono X printers. Installed and tested both V1.9.2 and V1.9.3 and they work ok EXCEPT when I save the sliced file to the Mem-Stick.
ON the printer the Image doesn't show, just the file name. When I select the File Name and hit the print Icon I get a error message that the File cannot be loaded?????
I was thinking of purchasing the Mono 6K printer but not until I get this issue resolved.

Thanks to the Chito Box technical team, my problem was solved this way:
If we could not add support manually in the software or the supports were not added on the model, go to>Menu > Settings > Graphics card backward(Enable this option)  :)

I recently purchased a new computer in order to install Chitubox Pro, after install when attempting to open the program I receive an error. “The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP120.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." I’ve re-installed several times an also tried installing Chitubox Basic and it does the same. 

Supports are not being manually placed correctly in 1.9.3. The program doesn't seem to recognize the model as a legitimate surface so manually added supports just "float" on the plate. The program recognizes other supports and can add supports to other supports but not to the model. Only after restarting Chitubox half-a-dozen times will I be able to manually add supports correctly but then the program again no longer recognizes the model. Reinstalling doesn't fix the problem. I've tried changing the priority, enabling/disabling UAC Virtualization, and just ending the process numerous times but nothing works.

Hello every time I open the program, I am shown the login screen despite having the auto login check box selected 

Yesterday and the day before I was working on supporting multiple different files and saved accordingly as .chitubox files before adding the figures all on one build plate and attempting to print. Some success, some failure, went to open up one of the failures to edit some supports, except Chitubox refuses to open the file, giving the error message at the bottom left of "Invalid File!" ....even though it's saved as a ".chitubox" file... And I was able to open it and work on it just fine the previous day. I thought maybe it was an issue with not having the latest version of Chitubox so did an update from v1.9.3 to v1.9.4 but still the same error message.  .stl files open just fine and .ctb files do as well. Just no .chitubox files that I had saved prior to today (2/4/23). I've even thrown some auto supports on a figure and saved it as a .chitubox file and closed and it opens up just fine. But none of my "older" .chitubox files do. Which is frustrating considering the amount of time I spent supporting them by hand. What can I do to recover these files??

Cannot drag and drop onto the plates. It will open each individual .stl file but cannot add to the plate. Had to install Lychee to be able to build plates. I was really hoping to be able to use Chitubox because it was the native software with my printer and produced stellar test prints. Sadly, not being able to add files to the build plate makes Chitubox essentially useless to me. I tried older versions of Chitubox to no avail as well which leads me to believe that the problem is most likely on my end. A Google search verifies that I am not the only user with this issue so a solution would be really swell, Chitubox...at least Lychee is out there and I am up and running but it would be nice to be able to actually use the bundled software that came with my printer. Any help getting Chitubox to let me drag and drop would be greatly appreciated.

I just got my Saturn 2 8K, The Rook.CTB that comes on the flashdrive printed just fine the night i got everything set up. If i take the Rook.STL that came on the flashdrive and slice it in Chitubox v.1.9.4 then it gives me a "Unknown file type" error when i try to print. I am slicing it to a .CTB just like the original. This happens for every single file i have tested. I have tried going back to older versions of Chitubox and updating the firmware for the machine. I have only had it for a week and have only been able to print the test rooks one time. Does anyone have any suggestions for me that i can try because this is so disheartening to try over and over and just get the same error. I have also tried different flashdrives that are all <16 GB, and formatted with Fat32 as instructed on the website.

Need to print a precise spare part. With the available resin, prints always get larger than expected. Thus I have tried to use the Tolerance Compensation feature (CHITUBOX_V1.9.4) for getting precise dimensions and holes, so my parts can match together (hopefully).  The model is being printed at an angle of 45 degrees to get holes being printed properly. Unfortunately supports are being generated based on the model before Tolerance Compensation is applied, resulting in the supports not being connected to the print at all (printing just the supports). Already tried to increase the contact depth without success. Also manual placing of the supports is no option, since I cannot see where the islands are. What else can I try? Anyways, support placing with Tolerance Compensation enabled should be fixed. Maybe 3d coordinates of contact points for the supports could be defined based on the layer number and island position to get at least the minimal supports needed?

Chitubox pro 1.3.0 не сохраняет файлы как нарезанные, так и STL, OBj и т,д. При сохранении создается tmp файл и по завершении сохранения в папке на 1-2 секунды появляется и пропадает готовый. Кто-нибудь знает в чём может быть проблема?

I just upgraded to v1.4 Windows. I have experienced a couple times now where the support lateral supports form into the model. If you notice it before you print and go back into that model support mode, without changing anything else, and touch the support with the mouse, it corects itself. I have taken to having to inspect a full STL export to search for this issue after ruining a couple of prints. I neverhad this issue printing same model many times in v1.3. I have a screen grab of the attached.

Hi @all, Chitubox saves my files as chitubox (.chitubox) (.CHI) files and not as chitubox (.chitubox) (.chitubox). If I want to open such a project, the message occurs, that the suffix "CHI" is not supported. I tried to fix with installing the new version 1.9.5, but the problem is still not solve. Can anybody help? Thank's a lot!

I think it's a nice software. But still want to point out some issues:
- Where to find the copy-function for an object on the platform. I didn't find it. Can only open the object-file again.
- How to store my settings of support? At every start they are set to default.

To have more digital solutions,  I think it still needs a lot of work to do.

I use CHITUBOX V1.9.5 to print model on Halot Mage. I found out that LCD_mirror in printer setting currupts files when saved as .cxdlpv4 format. It tryies to write both versions mirred and not in the same file making it unusable. You just need to change it to normal or DLP_mirror. But model now needs to be mirrored by hand.
