Saving as .stl

I folslowed the instructions for saving the models as .stl in the Chitubox. Then I sliced it. Hit save and the window only offers two file types none of them .stl and my machine doesn't recognise the save file types. How do I get it to keep it as an .stl file when I come to saving it to my USB please

The .stl file is the model file that the printer can't recognize, and the printer needs a sliced file to recognize, for example, .ctb, so you need to configure print parameters first:
    https://manual.chitubox.com/user-manual-basic/setting-up/configure-print-parameters
Then slice and save the file to the format your printer can recognize.
