help with a mac!!!

Help! i have a Mac- i cant seem to piviot around the grid. i am stuck in the middle of the grid when i upload an image. i can move up and down but not around. Help please!

    On my MacBook I hold down the control key and press the mouse button while moving the mouse around to rotate.

    right click & hold button down to drag/pivot the model in ANY position/direction.Use scroll wheel if U have one to zoom model view
