Go into your Apps and Features, find your Microsoft Visual C++ 20xx  Redistributable  files, starting with 2012 and later click on the modify button, and let them repair/reinstall themselves.  You might have to reinstall DirectX as well. I think I had to uninstall and reinstall the software after I did all this but it may not be necessary.
