Controls sans mouse

I'm trying to use my laptop at home, and I don't have a mouse.  How can I rotate the field when the software doesn't recognize a two finger tap? 

I've tried using the track pad while holding down:

- Shift

- Ctrl

- Alt

- Fn

& Every combination of these
