ChiTuBox 1.3.0 & Anycubic Photon & Slicing & Printing issues

D.Lohuis 2019-2-5 7538

When I slice an object and try to print it on my Anycubic Photon it doesn't print the first few layers. The printer does not even move downwarts. When looking at the .photon file using the original slicing app from Anycubic it also shows nothing for the first few layers. When I use the original Anycubic Photon slicing software I have no problems printing. It only happens when using ChiTuBox. I have selected the Anycubic Photon printer in the settings from ChiTuBox. Does anyone have an idea what the issue can be? I have tried finding a solution but haven't found anything yet.

I had the same issue and resorted to the same workaround as you did - using the original program for slicing. Still, a solution to this problem would be very much welcome!

Hello, I think there should be a bump at the bottom of the model, causing the model to rise, so the bottom image is small and causes a failure. You can use the latest version and have fixed this bug.

I just had the same issue, additionally it doesn't want to show preview of my slices anymore.

Im using osx for the photon. Can't find the OEM software and using CHiTuBox I get the problem where it  skipps  the first  layers and starts at 9%
    the print fails  ..
