Automatic supports are not placing in the correct places. Also when I try an place manual supports they either don't place at all or do the same kind of thing that auto supports do.  Also editing these supports results in the tips of the supports in mid air.  This is a very large detailed model and that might have somthing to do with the results I am seeing.
