Can't create supports.. Sometimes.

So, this is happening ALL the time.  I try and support a model, and sometimes I can't create a support.  I can create supports elsewhere, but not where I need to.  I am guessing the program can't figure out how to put a support there.  Its very frustrating because I have some models I just can't print because of it.  Any ideas how I can deal with this?

    I am having the same issue. Any help would be appreciated, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling 1.7 and even downloaded 1.8. I've tried factory settings and deleting log path. Nothing worked.

    If you cannot add support, please check your parameter settings for errors.
    The misaligned position may be caused by the model. Can you send the model to support@chitubox.com for testing?
    If a crash occurs during editing or adding, delete the log file or all files in the log path.
