Need help making this solid

I've been at this for days, and I want to understand why... but for now, I just need help getting it done.

When I go to slice this model, it seems to be hollow.  Can someone help me make it ready for print?

    Hello, the problem with your model is that all the sides are turned upside down when you make the model. I have fixed it for you, you can slice and print directly.

    Your model worked great.  Thanks!  I'm still not sure I understand what you mean by "all the sides are turned upside down"
