If you scroll down from where you downloaded  1.9.0 you will find links to all printers that use the .ctb file format to upgrade their firmware to allow them to use the new features in 1.9.0

in my case, my mars are motherboard type A, in the page to download the new firmware they advice to use this firmware only on type C motherboards.
What to do now?

I ran into the same issue with my Mars Pro. Updated the firmware, but had to downgrade to version 1.8.1 ChiTuBox to create the .ctb files for printer to read. They really need to fix this

Can I confirm for the Mars Pro. Despite the current firmware V4.4.3_c1_LCDF_1440_2560_F2.14, the problem still exists with the current Chitubox version 1.0.0. I think I'll switch to another slicer. Since for almost 2 months there has been no indication that and when the problem will be fixed.
