Chitubox Pro barely functioning

Just yesterday I decided to buy and download the Pro verion. Beginning to wish I hadn't bothered - bit annoyed!

The Pro version opens and eventually diplays the user interface. But if you dare click on anything, theres a spinning blue cursor and minutes of waiting for something to happen. In short, it's completely unusable. Additionally, when i eventually got to select the machine profile, neither of my machines are listed, but they are on the free version!!!


I reinstalled twice. No change. It is the latest Chitubox Pro version (downloaded just yesterday). I am running Windows 10 on a Dell Precision.


Anyone have ideas as to how this can be fixed?

    The app starts and then becomes completely unresponsive.

    most likely it is a software conflict issue, you can quit your runtime software one by one to track down which software conflicts with CHITUBOX.
    The following software may cause the conflict:
    - Anti-virus software
    - Tabtip (In Windows Task Manager it is called Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel)
    - PowerToys
    - Google Drive
    - Grammarly
