The Replace Model Feature does not work. It either does not replace the model at all, or replaces the model and resets it orientation so that it is no longer supported by the supports I had placed. This feature is currently useless unless your model runs parallel against the platform, which is what the video of the new feature shows. If you place the model at any angle the replace model feature wil not work at all for you.
