I figured it out. The cause of this crash is due to "Asus GPU Tweak III" software. If the OSD toggle is set to ON. It's causing Chitubox and other applications (Maya) to crash. Turning the OSD toggle to OFF in ASUS GPU Tweak III solves the issue. 

So it's not the driver. Instead it's the OSD feature in Asus GPU Tweak III.
