Common Issues and Solutions for Printing with 8K Resin

1. Support failure: 8K printers have very high resolution, which means models often need more delicate supports to prevent failures. Auto-supports may not generate enough supports for intricate 8K models. Users may need to manually add additional supports.

2. Long print times: The high resolution of 8K printers means print times can be exceptionally long, sometimes multiple days for a single print. This increases the chance of errors occurring mid-print.

3. Resin settling: With such long print times, resin can settle in the vat leading to uneven print quality. Users need to gently stir the resin every 4-6 hours during lengthy prints to prevent this.

4. Overexposure: With 8K resin, overexposure is common as the resin is more sensitive. Users will need to reduce exposure times significantly through calibration tests. Underexposure can also occur.
